Eva Longoria Gets a Master's Degree in Chicana Studies

The gorgeous Eva Longoria will be trading in her usual designer attire for a cap and gown in a couple weeks, when she receives her master's degree in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge.
"I'm writing my thesis now," the actress told E! News last night at the Lays Do Us A Flavor event. "Hopefully, I'll finish in time!"

Dumb bitch.

Weekly Workout Sumary - 5/12/13

Work got in the way of the workouts this week.  Big Time.  Was on the road all day Tuesday and Wednesday.  Tried to fit some stuff in when possible.

Tuesday

AM: Push-ups, jumping jacks, abs, dumbell rows
PM: 2 sets of pull-ups, 2 sets dips, mowed the lawn

First pull-ups in a few weeks due to elbow inflammation.  Felt good.  15 & 13 reps.

Wednesday

AM: 6 sets of the Bear.
PM: nothing.  Got home at 10:15. 

Thursday

AM: 3 rounds of the following complex: squats, military press, upright rows

Friday

Pull-up time!  3 sets unweighted (12, 11, 10 reps), 6 sets of 3 reps with 30 lbs., 4 sets of 15 dips

Saturday

Warm-up squats and pressing
Push presses: 6 reps @ 136, 5 reps @ 146, 3 reps @ 150, 3 reps @ 156 (rep PR), 3 reps @150, 5 reps @ 136.
Hang Pulls: 7 reps @ 120, (3) sets of 7 reps @ 130.

Touching Around the Much

Driving down the highway with my boss today and there was a two-for-Tuesday with "Shot Down in Flames" and "Touch Too Much."   During Touch Too Much my boss says that its one of his top three favorite AC/DC songs.  Says it kinda tells a story (?), and has some good drums and guitar.  I ask if he likes it more than Beatin' Around the Bush.  He says yes.  Generation gap city.

Coming off a de-load week with a little PR. 

Bear - 3 reps @ 70lbs.

Squat to Press - 10 reps @ 90

Hang Clean to Front Squat to Press - 5 reps @ 106

Power cleans - 7 reps @ 130

Push Press - 6 reps @ 130, 5 reps @ 140, 3 reps @ 150

Clean & Press - Single @ 160, (2) singles @ 166, Single @ 170 (PR)

Deadlifts - 10 reps @ 170, 10 reps @ 190 (2 sets)

Closing in on the bodyweight clean and press. Currently about 181 lbs.
